Which 70 Series kit suits you?

If you mainly… Look at From
Drive on the road with the odd trip away, and want the best price Dobinsons Nitro Gas kit (2" or 4") $2,090
Want a step up in comfort and control without going to a remote reservoir Dobinsons Monotube kit (50mm, 3" or 4") $2,430
Tow, carry weight, or do long corrugated dirt roads Dobinsons MRR remote reservoir kit – our best seller for the 70 Series $2,700
Want to fine-tune the ride yourself depending on load and terrain Dobinsons MRA 3-way adjustable kit $3,250

Which kit for my model? 79 ute – pick a kit marked 79 Series. 76 wagon – pick a kit marked 76 Series. 78 Troopy – the Nitro Gas 2" kit (marked 78 & 79) fits the Troopy; for any other kit, call us first and we'll check it suits. Older 75 Series – our Dobinsons 2" kit.

How much lift? A 2" (50mm) lift is the easy one – it gives you more clearance without changing how the Cruiser drives. 3" and 4" lifts give the most clearance and room for bigger tyres, but need more work to set up properly (see the questions below).

Want it fitted?

Buy the kit and book fitting at our Warwick Farm workshop, or pick it up and fit it yourself. Call (02) 8747 0325.

Common questions

What else does a 70 Series need with a lift?
The 70 Series has a solid front axle, so lifting it changes the castor angle and moves the axle off-centre. The taller the lift, the more it matters – a 3" or 4" lift usually needs castor correction and an adjustable panhard rod to put the axle back in the middle. Tell us which kit you're looking at and we'll let you know what your Cruiser needs before you order.

Single cab or dual cab 79?
The single cab and dual cab carry weight differently at the back, so the rear springs are matched to your cab and how much you carry. Tell us your cab type and load when you order and we'll make sure the right springs go in the kit.

Is a lift OK for rego?
The rules differ by state. Ask us before you order and we'll talk you through it.

Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes – we ship anywhere in Australia, or you can collect from our Warwick Farm workshop.

Not sure which kit?
Call (02) 8747 0325 or use the chat on our site – tell us how you use the Cruiser (towing, touring, work, daily) and we'll point you to the right kit.
