Which Patrol kit suits you?

Wagon or ute? The GQ and GU wagons have coil springs front and rear. The GU ute and cab chassis have coils at the front and leaf springs at the back, so they take a different kit – pick the one listed for your Patrol. Not sure? Call us and we'll check.

How much lift? A 2" (50mm) lift gives you more clearance without changing how the Patrol drives. 3" and 4" lifts give the most clearance and room for bigger tyres, but need more work to set up properly (see the questions below).

Common questions

What else does a GQ or GU need with a lift?
The GQ and GU have solid axles front and rear, so lifting them changes the castor angle and moves the axles off-centre. The taller the lift, the more it matters – a 3" or 4" lift usually needs castor correction and adjustable panhard rods to put the axles back in the middle. Tell us which kit you're looking at and we'll let you know what your Patrol needs before you order.

What about the Y62?
The Y62 has independent suspension front and rear, so it's set up differently to the GQ and GU. Ask us before you order and we'll tell you what your Y62 needs with a lift.

Is a lift OK for rego?
The rules differ by state. Ask us before you order and we'll talk you through it.

Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes – we ship anywhere in Australia, or you can collect from our Warwick Farm workshop.
