Which Dobinsons range?

  • Nitro Gas: mostly on-road driving with the odd weekend away. The lowest-priced range.
  • IMS Monotube: a step up in comfort and control, without going to a remote reservoir.
  • MRR (remote reservoir): towing, carrying weight, or long corrugated dirt roads.
  • MRA (3-way adjustable): lets you fine-tune the ride yourself for your load and the terrain.

Easy-Lift kits come with the front struts pre-assembled (shock, coil spring and new strut top mounts already put together), so the front goes in as a complete unit.

We fit Dobinsons kits at our workshop in Warwick Farm, NSW. Buy the kit here and call us on (02) 8747 0325 to book the fitting, or pick it up and fit it yourself. We check the CV boots when we fit a kit, and a wheel alignment is needed after any suspension change.

Good to know

  • When it's sent: lift kits are usually sent within 1 to 2 weeks. We sell a lot of kits, so some kit parts, like front coils or rear leaf springs, can sell out and need to be brought in. See Shipping Information.
  • Warranty: Dobinsons shocks and springs carry a 2-year manufacturer's warranty against defects, on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Dobinsons' own conditions apply. See our Refund, Returns and Warranty Policy.
  • Diff drops and upper control arms: lifting the front of an independent-suspension ute or wagon makes the CV shafts run at a steeper angle. A diff drop and upper control arms bring those angles back toward standard, and the taller the lift, the more they matter. Tell us which kit you're looking at and we'll tell you what your vehicle needs.
  • Rego: the rules for lifted vehicles differ by state. Ask us before you order and we'll talk you through it.
