Which 80 or 105 Series kit suits you?

Drive on the road with the odd trip away, and want the best price Dobinsons Nitro Gas kit (2", 3", 4" or 6") $1,390
Want a step up in comfort and control without going to a remote reservoir Dobinsons Monotube 2-3" kit $1,650
Tow, carry weight, or do long corrugated dirt roads Dobinsons MRR remote reservoir kit (2-3", 4" or 6") $1,980
Want to fine-tune the ride yourself depending on load and terrain Dobinsons MRA 3-way adjustable kit (2-3", 4" or 6") $2,540

80 or 105 Series? The 80 Series and the 105 Series both have coil springs and solid axles front and rear, so they take the same kits. The 100 Series is different – it has independent front suspension and takes its own kits. Not sure which you have? Call us and we'll check.

How much lift? A 2" (50mm) lift gives you more clearance without changing how the Cruiser drives. 3", 4" and 6" lifts give the most clearance and room for bigger tyres, but need more work to set up properly (see the questions below).

Common questions

What else does an 80 or 105 Series need with a lift?
The 80 and 105 Series have solid axles front and rear, so lifting them changes the castor angle and moves the axles off-centre. The taller the lift, the more it matters – a 3" lift or more usually needs castor correction and adjustable panhard rods to put the axles back in the middle, and the bigger lifts need longer brake lines too. Tell us which kit you're looking at and we'll let you know what your Cruiser needs before you order.

Is a lift OK for rego?
The rules differ by state. Ask us before you order and we'll talk you through it.

Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes – we ship anywhere in Australia, or you can collect from our Warwick Farm workshop.
