Which kit for my model? 79 ute – pick a kit marked 79 Series. 76 wagon – pick a kit marked 76 Series. 78 Troopy – the Nitro Gas 2" kit (marked 78 & 79) fits the Troopy; for any other kit, call us first and we'll check it suits. Older 75 Series – our Dobinsons 2" kit.

How much lift? A 2" (50mm) lift is the easy one – it gives you more clearance without changing how the Cruiser drives. 3" and 4" lifts give the most clearance and room for bigger tyres, but need more work to set up properly (see the questions below).

Common questions

What else does a 70 Series need with a lift?
The 70 Series has a solid front axle, so lifting it changes the castor angle and moves the axle off-centre. The taller the lift, the more it matters – a 3" or 4" lift usually needs castor correction and an adjustable panhard rod to put the axle back in the middle. Tell us which kit you're looking at and we'll let you know what your Cruiser needs before you order.

Single cab or dual cab 79?
The single cab and dual cab carry weight differently at the back, so the rear springs are matched to your cab and how much you carry. Tell us your cab type and load when you order and we'll make sure the right springs go in the kit.

Is a lift OK for rego?
The rules differ by state. Ask us before you order and we'll talk you through it.

Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes – we ship anywhere in Australia, or you can collect from our Warwick Farm workshop.

If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders may not have tracking numbers due to provider options.

The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.

Delivery charges

What is Rural Delivery fee?
An estimated delivery charge will apply to customers ordering from rural areas. Prior to processing you order on checkout, an alert will appear that will advise customers to call MYTUFF4X4 to obtain an accurate cost of delivery. Please contact MYTUFF4X4 to see a list of Rural and Remote areas. Some areas may take longer due to the frequency of deliveries to the delivery Post code. Our system calculates this estimated price considering the total amount of time to process your order including: packaging, transit time to the delivery provider, and transit time to the delivery address.

When placing your order, we consider these factors when calculating the Estimated Delivery prices :

  • Post code of the nominated delivery address.
  • Transit Time: The amount of time it takes your order to leave our distribution centre and arrive at the local delivery carrier.

What additional fees may apply?
There may be circumstances that require additional payment by you if the conditions mentioned have not been met or you require special services outside of our standard delivery.

Back Orders

If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

Delivery Insurance

Goods that are shipped on behalf of the client by Mytuff4x4 are not insured unless the client notifies us prior to delivery and pays for delivery insurance. Mytuff4x4 is not responsible for goods damaged in transit if insurance is not paid for by the customer prior to delivery.

A complete Dobinsons 2 inch lift kit Suitable For the Toyota LandCruiser 75 Series (11/1984-1999). It replaces the springs, shocks and wear parts at both ends, so the old leaf-sprung 75 gets a fresh, even lift instead of a patch-up on tired parts.

Picking the right springs

Choose spring rates for the weight the vehicle carries all the time, front and rear: bar work, winch, drawers, long range tank and so on. Leave towing and occasional loads out of it. Springs that are too heavy for the truck ride hard, lose flex off-road and push the shocks past where they are meant to work. Lift heights are a guide only, because every vehicle is set up differently.

Worth knowing before you buy

On a live axle 75 there are no CV shafts to worry about, but lifting it still changes the caster and the tailshaft angle. We check those when we fit it, and we will tell you if anything else on the front end needs attention.
