What is Rural Delivery fee?
An estimated delivery charge will apply to customers ordering from rural areas. Prior to processing you order on checkout, an alert will appear that will advise customers to call MYTUFF4X4 to obtain an accurate cost of delivery. Please contact MYTUFF4X4 to see a list of Rural and Remote areas. Some areas may take longer due to the frequency of deliveries to the delivery Post code. Our system calculates this estimated price considering the total amount of time to process your order including: packaging, transit time to the delivery provider, and transit time to the delivery address.
When placing your order, we consider these factors when calculating the Estimated Delivery prices :
- Post code of the nominated delivery address.
- Transit Time: The amount of time it takes your order to leave our distribution centre and arrive at the local delivery carrier.
What additional fees may apply?
There may be circumstances that require additional payment by you if the conditions mentioned have not been met or you require special services outside of our standard delivery.
Back Orders
If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.
Delivery Insurance
Goods that are shipped on behalf of the client by Mytuff4x4 are not insured unless the client notifies us prior to delivery and pays for delivery insurance. Mytuff4x4 is not responsible for goods damaged in transit if insurance is not paid for by the customer prior to delivery.
MRR or MRA — which one is this?
This one is an MRA: a monotube shock with a remote reservoir, plus three damping adjusters — high-speed compression, low-speed compression and rebound. You set it up for the way the truck is loaded and the ground you are on, and change it again when that changes. This is the current Dobinsons shock and it replaced the MRR in their range.
The MRR is the original version of the same monotube-and-reservoir design, without the adjusters. The Dobinsons family have moved on from it, but it is still being manufactured by their business partner — the people who designed and built it in the first place, and who helped the Dobinsons family develop their own shock range. We still stock it, so you can have either.
Go MRA if you tow, run varying loads, or want to dial compression and rebound in to suit the day.
Go MRR if you want the reservoir’s heat control in a set-and-forget shock.
Not sure which you are looking at? The MRA has three adjuster knobs on it. The MRR has none.
Fitted by mechanics, not just bolted on.
MyTuff4x4 is backed by MB Mechanical Repairs, a full mechanical workshop in Warwick Farm, in the trade since 2011. When we fit a lift kit we look at the whole vehicle, not just the springs and shocks: the CV angles, ball joints, bushes and steering that a lift puts extra strain on. If something is worn, or won’t suit the height you’re after, we tell you before you find out on the track.
Fitting a full kit typically runs $750–$950 in labour. A wheel alignment afterwards is $120, and on a lifted vehicle it isn’t optional.

This is a MRA adjustable remote reservoir suspension kit built for the Isuzu D-Max.
The MRA shocks are remote reservoir and externally adjustable — you can dial the damping by hand rather than living with whatever valving came in the box. Useful if the load in the back changes a lot between the work week and the weekend.

Worth knowing before you buy — CV boots
We would rather tell you this up front. On an independent front end, lifting the vehicle makes the CV shafts run at a steeper angle than the factory intended. The first thing to complain is usually the CV boot: it tears, the grease gets thrown out, dirt and water get in, and the joint is not far behind.
A diff drop and front upper control arms are what pull those angles back toward standard, and the taller the lift the more they matter. Check your boots at every service, replace one the moment it splits rather than waiting, do not wind an adjustable front any higher than you actually need, and get the alignment done properly once the springs have settled.
