Delivery charges
What is Rural Delivery fee?
An estimated delivery charge will apply to customers ordering from rural areas. Prior to processing you order on checkout, an alert will appear that will advise customers to call MYTUFF4X4 to obtain an accurate cost of delivery. Please contact MYTUFF4X4 to see a list of Rural and Remote areas. Some areas may take longer due to the frequency of deliveries to the delivery Post code. Our system calculates this estimated price considering the total amount of time to process your order including: packaging, transit time to the delivery provider, and transit time to the delivery address.
When placing your order, we consider these factors when calculating the Estimated Delivery prices :
- Post code of the nominated delivery address.
- Transit Time: The amount of time it takes your order to leave our distribution centre and arrive at the local delivery carrier.
What additional fees may apply?
There may be circumstances that require additional payment by you if the conditions mentioned have not been met or you require special services outside of our standard delivery.
Back Orders
If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.
Delivery Insurance
Goods that are shipped on behalf of the client by Mytuff4x4 are not insured unless the client notifies us prior to delivery and pays for delivery insurance. Mytuff4x4 is not responsible for goods damaged in transit if insurance is not paid for by the customer prior to delivery.
Fitting available in Warwick Farm, Sydney. We can fit these for you at our own workshop, MB Mechanical Repairs — 13 C/4 Homepride Ave, Warwick Farm NSW 2170 (Liverpool), in the trade since 2011.
Fitting a set of upper control arms runs $250–$350 depending on the vehicle, plus a wheel alignment, on top of the price of the parts. Call 02 8747 0325 or get in touch for a firm quote.
A pair of Blackhawk upper control arms to bring your front end back into line after a lift. They carry 3° of built-in caster correction to put the ball joint angle and steering feel back where they should be, with extra clearance to the coil through articulation and a stronger arm than the factory piece.
Why you need them once you lift
Your 4WD left the factory with its steering and suspension geometry set around standard ride height. Put 40 mm or more of lift under it and that relationship is gone. What you feel afterwards is:
- Caster pulled out of spec, so the steering goes vague and slow to centre
- Bump steer through corrugations and mid-corner bumps
- Bigger tyres and wheels fouling suspension components
- The upper arm catching the coil at full droop
- Standard arms working harder than they were built to off-road

Fits
Ford Ranger Next Gen (excluding Raptor), Ford Everest Next Gen and Volkswagen Amarok NF — steel knuckle models only
Before you order: Next Gen utes left the factory with either a steel or an alloy front knuckle, and they take different arms. Look in behind the front wheel: a black pressed-steel knuckle takes this arm, a silver cast-alloy one takes UCA3091A. Check before you order — the wrong one will not bolt up.
OE-sized bushes and ball joints are used throughout, so replacement wear parts are easy to get down the track rather than being locked to one supplier.
Fitting and compliance
These bolt straight into the factory mounting points. Nothing on the chassis rail moves, is cut or is re-drilled, and rubber bushes are used at the chassis exactly as the manufacturer specified. Wheel alignment after fitting is essential — book it in with the install.

Supply and fit at our own workshop
MyTuff4x4 is run alongside MB Mechanical Repairs, a fully equipped workshop in Warwick Farm near Liverpool that has been servicing and repairing vehicles since 2011. We can supply these arms and fit them for you, in-house.
Upper control arms are not a part you want fitted by halves. The bushes have to be torqued at ride height or they wind up and tear, the ball joints need seating properly, and the vehicle has to come off the hoist and onto an alignment straight afterwards. Skip the alignment and you will chew a set of tyres and still have the vague steering you bought the arms to fix. Fitting runs $250–$350 depending on the vehicle, plus the wheel alignment, on top of the price of the parts — and we do both in the one visit.
