Delivery charges

What is Rural Delivery fee?
An estimated delivery charge will apply to customers ordering from rural areas. Prior to processing you order on checkout, an alert will appear that will advise customers to call MYTUFF4X4 to obtain an accurate cost of delivery. Please contact MYTUFF4X4 to see a list of Rural and Remote areas. Some areas may take longer due to the frequency of deliveries to the delivery Post code. Our system calculates this estimated price considering the total amount of time to process your order including: packaging, transit time to the delivery provider, and transit time to the delivery address.

When placing your order, we consider these factors when calculating the Estimated Delivery prices :

  • Post code of the nominated delivery address.
  • Transit Time: The amount of time it takes your order to leave our distribution centre and arrive at the local delivery carrier.

What additional fees may apply?
There may be circumstances that require additional payment by you if the conditions mentioned have not been met or you require special services outside of our standard delivery.

Back Orders

If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

Delivery Insurance

Goods that are shipped on behalf of the client by Mytuff4x4 are not insured unless the client notifies us prior to delivery and pays for delivery insurance. Mytuff4x4 is not responsible for goods damaged in transit if insurance is not paid for by the customer prior to delivery.

Fitted by mechanics, not just bolted on.

MyTuff4x4 is backed by MB Mechanical Repairs, a full mechanical workshop in Warwick Farm, in the trade since 2011. When we fit a lift kit we look at the whole vehicle, not just the springs and shocks: the CV angles, ball joints, bushes and steering that a lift puts extra strain on. If something is worn, or won’t suit the height you’re after, we tell you before you find out on the track.

Fitting a full kit typically runs $750–$950 in labour. A wheel alignment afterwards is $120, and on a lifted vehicle it isn’t optional.

Dobinsons Nitro Gas lift kit to suit the Ford Courier PC/PH and Mazda Bravo B2200, B2500, B2600 and B4000 4x4 (1985 to 11/2006). It also suits the 4x2 Hi-Rider. Around 35mm of lift at the rear on new leaf springs, with the front set on the torsion bars.

Dobinsons twin tube nitro gas shocks give a good, controlled ride on the road and on the track, at a sensible price.

What's in the kit

  • 2 × Dobinsons twin tube nitro gas front shock absorbers (GS19-082P)
  • 2 × Dobinsons raised rear leaf springs, picked in the options (MAZ-003-R up to 100kg, or B2600-4X4-R heavy duty 200kg)
  • 2 × Dobinsons twin tube nitro gas rear shock absorbers (GS19-081T)
  • 1 × Dobinsons spring and shackle bush kit (PB39-1058K)
  • 2 × Dobinsons U-bolt kits (UB59-453-3K)

Heavy duty torsion bars (TB39-1546) and greasable shackles (SK59-010) can be added in the options.

Worth knowing before you buy

  • The front of this vehicle is lifted by re-setting the factory torsion bars, and the front shocks are made to suit the extra height. If you carry a bar and winch, heavy duty torsion bars can be added in the options.
  • On independent front suspension a lift makes the CV shafts run at a steeper angle. Check your CV boots at every service and replace one the moment it splits.
  • On an older vehicle, worn bushes, ball joints and steering parts show up quickly once it is lifted. We check them when we fit the kit and tell you before we go any further.
  • Pick spring rates for the weight the vehicle carries all the time (bar, winch, canopy, drawers). Don't count towing or the odd heavy load. Springs that are too heavy ride harsh, lose travel and can damage the shocks.
  • Lift height is a guide only. The final height depends on your vehicle and its accessories. A wheel alignment is needed after fitting.
