Front Tough Dog 35mm Bore Foam Cell Shock Absorbers for Nissan D22 Navara
Tough Dog's award-winning Foam Cell shock absorbers are their best-selling option for all-around performance, designed to excel in both on-road comfort and off-road durability.
Whether you venture into the bush on the occasional weekend or spend the majority of the year off the beaten path, Tough Dog Foam Cell shocks are built to handle your vehicle's demands.
The Foam Cell technology that sets these shocks apart features a micro-cellular foam insert. This insert helps reduce the effects of shock fade, allowing your shocks to deliver consistent performance over long periods, even on the harshest of corrugations. Cavitation and aeration – the mixing of oil and gas – are the main culprits in diminishing shock absorber efficiency. As shocks work harder, air bubbles form, reducing the viscosity of the oil. When the aerated oil passes through the valve, the shock's performance is compromised. The Foam Cell insert, with its trapped gas micro cells, fills the space where air or nitrogen gas would typically be, preventing bubble formation and offering exceptional resistance to shock fade.
